Stop Yourself From Creating Duplicate Tabs
Trying to stop yourself from creating duplicate tabs is a very common problem. Sometimes it might be unavoidable (especially when you’re using something like an extension or a browser with a lot of tabs), but that doesn’t mean that it’s a good thing.
To fix this problem, a user can prevent a tab from duplicating itself. In order to do this, he/she can use the “DDT - Don't Dupe Tabs” extension that doesn’t allow you to open duplicate tabs. But what about the times when you really want to open a tab and you want it to be saved for later? Or the times when you have 150+ tabs open? It’s time to find a solution!
To solve this problem, a user has two options: he/she can delete the tab or the user can prevent the browser from creating a new tab.
The "DDDT - Don't Dupe Tabs" extension is used by millions of people and is one of the most popular solutions to the problem.
